Coat hook

A coat hook is fitted to the rear grab handle in the Kia Sportage.

WARNING

Use the hook for clothing only. Do not hang items such as coat hangers or other hard objects from it, and do not place heavy, sharp or breakable objects in clothing pockets. In a collision or if a curtain air bag deploys, these items could damage the vehicle or injure an occupant.

CAUTION

Hanging clothes

Do not hang heavy garments from the hook, as they may damage it.

Side curtain: (if equipped)

Operation

1. Raise the curtain using the knob (1).

2. Attach both sides of the curtain to their hooks.

NOTE

• Always secure both sides of the curtain. Attaching only one side may damage it.

• Keep foreign objects clear of the space between the door trim and the curtain. An obstruction may prevent the curtain from being raised.
