On equipped Kia Sportage models, ambient lighting is fitted to the front crash pad and centre console, adding soft illumination to these areas of the cabin.

Cup holders: (if equipped)

Operation

• Press the button to open the cup holder. It can hold cups or small beverage cans.

• Slide the cup holder to use the space as a storage compartment.

WARNING

• Hot liquids and unsecured containers

  • Do not place an uncovered cup containing a hot drink in the holder while driving. A spill could cause burns, and an injury to the driver could lead to loss of vehicle control.

  • To reduce the risk of injury during a sudden stop or collision, do not leave uncovered or unsecured bottles, glasses, cans or similar containers in the cup holder while the Kia Sportage is moving.

• Keep cans and bottles out of direct sunlight, and do not leave them in a heated vehicle. They may explode.

NOTE

• Keep drinks sealed while driving to prevent spills. Liquid entering the vehicle’s electrical or electronic systems may damage components.

• If liquid spills in the cup holder, do not dry it using high heat, as this may damage the holder.
