With the vehicle switched on, select Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Smart Cruise Control > Based on Driving Style in the infotainment system. SCC then adapts its operation to the driver’s style, including following distance, acceleration and reaction speed.
The driver’s style settings can also be adjusted manually.
NOTE
If equipped with Based on Driving Style, you can access this function through Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Smart Cruise Control in the infotainment system.
When SCC is operating with Based on Driving Style enabled, press and hold the Vehicle Distance button (
) to disable the function.
To enable it again, press and hold the Vehicle Distance button (
).
SCC learns the driver’s style only while the driver is driving the vehicle.
When Based on Driving Style is switched off, the driver’s learned settings for following distance, acceleration and reaction speed remain at the same levels.
When Based on Driving Style is switched on or off, the way SCC responds may still change even if the displayed levels for following distance, acceleration and reaction speed appear unchanged.
