To help even out tread wear, rotate the tyres every 10,000 km (6,500 miles), or sooner if uneven wear appears.
Warning
Do not include a compact spare tyre in the rotation pattern.
Never mix bias-ply and radial-ply tyres. Doing so may cause unpredictable handling and could result in death, serious injury or property damage.
Note
For radial tyres with an asymmetric tread pattern, rotate them only between the front and rear axles. Do not move them from the right side of the vehicle to the left, or vice versa.
The wheels on your Kia Sportage are carefully aligned and balanced at the factory to support long tyre life and good overall performance.
If you feel vibration while driving on a smooth road, the wheels may need to be rebalanced.
Caution
Incorrect wheel weights can damage aluminium wheels. Use only approved wheel weights.
