Kia Sportage: 12V Parking lithium battery

The 12V Parking lithium battery provides a stable power supply while the vehicle is parked and functions such as OTA updates, after-blow and CCS are operating.

12V lithium auxiliary battery care

If the 12V lithium auxiliary battery detects an abnormal condition, such as excessive temperature or overcharging, a warning appears in the instrument cluster. A fault notification may also be sent to the mobile phone number registered with the vehicle.
