Driver Assistance Driving Convenience Highway Driving Assist

With the vehicle switched on, use the infotainment system to open Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Driving Convenience, then select which functions to use.

• When Highway Driving Assist is selected, the system helps maintain the distance from the vehicle ahead and the set speed, while helping centre the Kia Sportage in its lane.

Highway Lane Change Assist: (if equipped)

• When Highway Lane Change Assist is selected, the system can help the vehicle change lanes when the required conditions are met.

WARNING

For safety, adjust these settings only after parking the vehicle in a safe location.

CAUTION

When a trailer connector is plugged into the vehicle, Highway Driving Assist switches off automatically. The system will not provide assistance while it is inactive, so drive with care.

NOTE

• Highway Driving Assist must be selected before Highway Lane Change Assist can be used.

• If a system fault prevents the settings from being changed, have the function inspected by an authorised Kia dealer or service partner.

• The selected settings are retained when the vehicle is restarted.

Warning Methods

Driver Assistance Warning Methods

With the vehicle switched on, open Setup > Vehicle > Driver Assistance > Warning Methods in the infotainment system to adjust the available alerts:

• Warning Volume: Sets the volume of the audible warning.

• Driving Safety Priority: Reduces the volume of other audio sources when a Driving Safety system issues a warning.

NOTE

• The selected Warning Methods may also apply to other driver assistance features. Review the warning settings for each function as needed.

• Warning Methods retain their most recent settings after the vehicle is restarted.

• Depending on the Kia Sportage’s equipment and specifications, some settings may not be available.
