Kia Sportage: Highway Driving Assist (HDA): (if equipped)Highway Driving Assist
|
On supported highways, Highway Driving Assist uses lane and forward-vehicle detection to help the Kia Sportage maintain its set speed, keep a following distance from the vehicle ahead and stay centred in its lane.
Highway Lane Change Assist (if equipped)
|
When the system determines that a lane change can be made, Highway Lane Change Assist can help move the vehicle in the direction indicated by the turn signal.
NOTE
Highway Driving Assist is available only on designated controlled-access sections of certain highways. These roads have limited entry and exit points to support uninterrupted high-speed traffic and are generally restricted to passenger cars and motorcycles.
The system operates on the main carriageway of a highway or motorway. It does not operate on interchanges or at junctions.
Navigation updates may add support for additional highways in the future.
