Kia Sportage: If You Have a Flat Tyre (With Tyre Mobility Kit): If Equipped![]() |
|
The Tyre Mobility Kit is designed for temporary repairs, not as a permanent tyre repair method. It is intended to repair one tyre only.
The compressor and sealant can seal many punctures caused by nails or similar objects and reinflate the tyre. Larger punctures and damage to the sidewall may not seal completely.
Once you have confirmed that the puncture is sealed, drive cautiously to a service station or tyre dealer so the tyre can be replaced. The repaired tyre may be driven for up to 200 km (124 miles) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h (50 mph).
Avoid sudden steering inputs and other abrupt manoeuvres, particularly if the Kia Sportage is heavily loaded or towing a trailer.
Refer to “Safe Use of the Tyre Mobility Kit” for further instructions.
WARNING
CAUTION
If two or more tyres are flat, do not use the Tyre Mobility Kit. The supplied sealant is intended to repair only one flat tyre.
