Kia Sportage Owner’s Manual (5th Generation, NQ5; 2022+) / Driver assistance system / Forward Attention Warning (FAW)

CAUTION

  • Keep the in-cabin camera unobstructed and in good condition so Forward Attention Warning can operate as intended.

  • If the inside rearview mirror is tilted too far, the camera may be unable to detect the driver. Forward Attention Warning may then work incorrectly or display a “Limitations of Forward Attention Warning” message.

  • If an object blocks the in-cabin camera, Forward Attention Warning may not operate correctly and may display a “Forward Attention Warning disabled” message.
