Kia Sportage: Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC): (if equipped)

When Smart Cruise Control is active on a highway, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control uses navigation data to help the Kia Sportage adjust its speed to suit the road ahead.

NOTE

• Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control is available only on designated controlled-access sections of certain highways or motorways. These roads have limited entry and exit points to support uninterrupted high-speed traffic and are generally restricted to passenger cars and motorcycles.

• The system operates on the main carriageway of a controlled-access road. It does not operate on interchanges or at junctions.

• Navigation updates may add support for additional highways in the future.

Highway Curve Zone Auto Slowdown

If the Kia Sportage is travelling too quickly for an upcoming highway curve, this function uses navigation data to temporarily reduce speed or limit acceleration to help the vehicle negotiate the bend.
